Estamos en un momento en que todos tenemos que hablar para entender que paso en el viaje el año pasado de Paul y Pablo. No quierro malentendidos cuando lo que parece es que solo tenemos que informarnos bien. Como detectives para repasar todo los pasos atras y ver adonde pueden estar las bellas obras de Rodolfo. Yo entendi que ellos dejaron las obras en casa de Amarilys. PAUL y PABLO por favor pueden responder con lo que ustedes se recuerdan de ese viaje? Necesitamos que ustedes respondan para clarificar los detalles. Amarilys usted tambien puede responder por favor. Yo nunca tuve el placer de conoserte personalmente pero yo se que su papel como comunicadora con los artistas en la isla y nuestra galeria era muy importante.

Obvio estas bellas obras existen y estan en algun lado. Solo tenemos que hablar abiertamente para encontrar las. Rodolfo Si han ablado con Amarilys por favor me dejan saber. Ya vi el correo electronico que le mando. Yo no tengo numero de telefono de Amarilys, y la incluye en este correo esperando que ojala ella responda. We are in a critical moment of needing to communciate to understand what happened on Paul &Pabls trip last year to Cuba. I dont' want to have any more misunderstandings because of lack of information. Like detective we must go over the details of the trip last year to backtrack and find out what happened to Rodolfo's beautiful paintings and where they are at this present moment. Unfortunately MANY people are involved at this point and so PLEASE REPLY ALL.

I know that when I started last year January, Allison had already picked out several pieces to return to CUba. I myself rolled them in the tube that Pablo and Paul took to Cuba. Among those were:

I understood that Paul & Pablo left the paintings at Amarilys' home to be returned to the artists. PAUL and PABLO can you please respond with what you remember from the trip? We really need you to clarify the details. Amarilys can you also please reply all. I never had the pleasure of meeting you myself but I know that you were an important part of the communication between the artists on the island and ourselves here in Chicago. Clearly your role as artist communicator was an important and valuable one.

Obviously these beautiful paintinfs exist and are somewhere. We just hace to openly communicate to find them. & Rodolfo, if you have spoken with Amarilys please let me know. I already saw the email you sent her. I don't have a telephone number for her. I have included her on this email and I hope she replies. ALLISON, do you know where in the computer her phone number might be. Its not on her contract and I can't find it in the computer files.

I have no doubt, with everyones help, that we can locate these paintings and everything will be clarified without any problems. Thank you to everyone for your help in this important matter. My apologies to Rodolfo that this happened in the first place.

Queria ver que communicacioneshamos tenido en este año u me encontre este correo electronico que mem mandaron en Septiembre. Perdon! Esto lo contesto una muchacha que estuvo trabajando con nosotros por unos meses y yo no vi que su papa estava buscando informacion desde ese entonces. Mil descupas. Ahora entiendo bien porque estamos teniendo este malentendido.

No es por falta de querrer. Rodolfo trato de comunicarse con nosotros y nos mando este mensaje. Si yo ubviera visto este correo le ubvierarespuesto en esos dias de sus pinturas. Perdon. Parece que el no respondio hacer mas preguntas y Leiddia era nueva y no uviera sabido mucho de la relacion de nosotros con su papa. Perdon. Quisiera yo poder llamarlos para hablar directamente. No quierro malentendidos.

Yo apenas llege a la galeria el año pasado en enero y he estado aprendiendo mucho en esta año incluyendo como comunicarme con los artistas. Me siento muy mal que su papa esta tan molesto con nosotros. Yo tambienquierro arreglar este asunto de las obras. Por favor quisiera saber si as podido communicarse con Amarilys que es la persona en Cuba mas indicada para ayudar nos con informacion.

Paul y Pablo me dicen que las obras se llevaron a su casa pero como yo no estuve en ese viaje quisiera saber yo misma que se recuerda Amarilys. Por favor tenga me al alcanse de informacion.
Yo nunca he tratado de llamar a Cuba porque me dice Paul que es muy dificil pero si usted tiene numero de telefono de usted o su papa yo puedo tratar de averiguar como se hace llamadas porque seria mucho mejor poder hablar en persona que sobre el correo electronico. Especialmente con algo tan delicado. Le prometo que no vamos a dejar de averiguar hasta que incontremos todo los detalles sobre las obras. Nosotros siempre hemos tenido muy buena relacion con todos los artistas en Cuba y no hay porque cambie esto por falta de hablar y comunicarnos.

Quierro que sepas algo, si yo no resondorapido es porque yo no trabajo todo los dias en la galeria. Yo solo trabajo dos o tres dias a la semana y no puedo estar en constante communicacion a todo momento por eso quiesiera buscar la manera de llamarlos para hablar en persona.

Pablo Perea and myself made our last trip to Cuba on 02/21/10. The trip was completed on 03/04/10. Our trip involved return of paintings to various artists that were out of contract. We have successfully completed this process countless times since the inception of Havana Gallery many years ago with surgical precision. The travel portion is extremely arduous , time consuming and expensive for Havana Gallery and is undertaken solely to benefit the artists of Cuba we have grown so fond of . Havana Gallery has developed a very close working relationship with many of Cuba’s finest artists because of the hard and honest work it has performed for so many years on their behalf.

On the trip date’s mentioned above the paintings in question were left with our former Cuban liaison to the artist’s , Amarylis ( last name ) in her Havana apartment. Pablo Perea and myself were both present at the meeting as was Amys extended family. I hope this clears up any questions about the whereabouts of the painting’s listed below; I understand 1 painting outside this list will be returned on the next journey.
